Residential Remodels
Starting as a painting and waterproofing contractor in 1972 I moved into reconstruction of historic buildings in Sarasota Florida. Beginning with the Ringling Brothers properties, I completed waterproofing of the 1920 structures including remolding the water damaged plaster work, framing and restoration of the timeless stain glass windows. At that time, furniture like banquet tables were hand made on sight. We repaired and replaced wood veneer matching rare wood inlays to their original finishes, after searching many states for the parts to make the repairs. One 30’ table is still on display in the John Ringling Mansion today.
Stepping forward to 1986 I was called to Michigan to remodel the Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit Michigan.
Remodeling has always been my personal passion from old historic buildings to older single family homes in charming mature neighborhoods. Yukon excels in this area because of our experience and diverse background of complicated projects in the past.
